This five-star hotel in Singapore is strategically located at the start of Orchard Road in Singapore, in the centre of the city’s commercial and entertainment district, just a 30-minute drive from Singapore’s Changi Airport.
We have to agree with this, the Grand Hyatt Singapore is a truly great hotel.
If you like shopping, this would be the best hotel option for you, as Orchard Road is just a few steps away.
It all started when we arrived with the Limo from Changi Airport at Scotts Road.
We where welcomed at the door, Hello Mr Smulders, welcome to the Grand Hyatt.
We take care of your luggage, please follow me to the dedicated check in area for our Executive guests on level 20.
The elevator took us to level 20 and we where welcomed by the nice colors and great ambiance of this floor.
The staff member at the reception desk was very friendly and efficient.
It only took 3 minutes to finish all procedures.
Mr and Mrs Smulders, you will stay in our Club Deluxe King room on level 14, room 1417.
You will have access to our Club Lounge for breakfast and evening cocktails and canapés.
As soon as we opened the door from our hotel room, we where overwelmed by the spacious rooms and bathroom.
55 Square meters is not always the size of the room that you will stay in.
It felt like entering your own livening room at home.
It was time to get ready for the evening, as we arrived at 19.00 at the hotel.
A quick shower and off to explore the nightlife at Singapore Clark Quay.
Arriving late in the evening ( or early in the morning ) it was great to experience that the bed was so comfortable, that it was hard to get up in the morning.
It was time to get ready for breakfast at the Club Lounge on level 21.
The service provided in the lounge was really great, they serve you at the table.
Mr Smulders do you like another Capaccino ?
No I am fine, too much food in the morning was not such a great idea.
It was time for a few laps in the swimming pool to loss some calories.
Off course you have to do some shopping when you are in Singapore, and as Orchoard Road is just a few steps away, you always can drop the goods in your room.
My wife loved the ION Shopping Mall and we spend the morning shopping and took a Hop on Hop Off bus tour to see the city in the afternoon.
In the evening it was time to get ready for Dinner.
The Grand Hyatt Hotel has 9 restaurants and the prices are not expensive at all.
Not too expensive, and you can choose whatever food you want, Fish, Sushi, Beef, Chinees too much to eat it all.
We went for the Mezza 9 and had a really great dinner.
The Grand Hyatt Hotel in Singapore is a fantastic hotel.
For sure we will get back to this hotel, and I am sure we will have the great service as we had experienced during this stay.
It’s not only a great Business Hotel, but also for the leisure traveller a great place to stay.
The hotel is right in the middle of the shopping area Orchard Road.
